Cooking for Me and Sometimes You; A Parisienne Romance with Recipes

by Barbara-jo McIntosh

With its linen cover, ragged edged paper, ribbon bookmark and pencil illustrations this book is as much a pleasure to hold, as it is to read. You might be able to guess that the author is also a bookseller. In this charming little book she recounts how she made her dream of spending a month cooking and eating in Paris a reality. How many of us would love to do the same? She falls in love with the City of Lights and a man. She takes us through Paris cobbled streets and we inhale the city with her, delight in its pleasures and learn that no dream has perfect ending. That this book has recipes too, makes it all the more enjoyable.
