TIRAMISU
LISA
This is a receipe I received in Tuscany from the chefs at the villa I stayed at with my family. We loved it and hope you enjoy it too.
Ingredients:
750 grams mascarpone cheese
500 ml double cream (whipping)
4 egg yolks
8 + 2 tbsps of sugar
1 cup of espresso coffee
some sweet liquor (Vin Santo)
1 large pkg of Pavesini Biscuits
Preparation:
Whip cream with 2 tbsps of sugar.
In another bowl whisk mascarpone cheese with egg yolks and 8 tbsps of sugar, until creamy. Then add in the other cream mixture.
In another bowl mix espresso coffee with liquor and then dip the biscuits one at a time and line a rectangular dish with biscuits and then a layer of the cream , keep layering til all used up (3 layers)
Refrigerate 4-5 hours or overnight.
When serving sprinkle with cocoa powder.
